The Founder

Helping busy creatives create more and scroll less. One Prompt means endless opportunities.

Like many artists, I used to wait for the perfect moment to create. It never arrived.
What did work was showing up consistently, even for a few minutes each month. That’s the philosophy behind every Sunday prompt: small creative actions that compound into meaningful progress.
Because building a creative practice isn’t about having more time. It’s about making the most of the time you already have.

Monthly free prompts will help you to design an illustration portfolio
I know what it’s like to have creative dreams and a calendar that says otherwise.
Between a full-time job, family life and endless to-do lists, finding time for art can feel impossible.
That’s exactly why I created Sunday Creative Club. Through simple drawing prompts, fun Procreate projects and a sustainable creative routine, I help busy creatives build an illustration portfolio one tiny step at a time.
No pressure. No perfection. Just a creative habit that grows quietly in the background until one day you realize you’ve created dozens of illustrations, patterns and projects you never thought you’d have time for.
Over the Years
Maries Journey
2003: london calling
I packed my bags for London and spent two epic years navigating the fast-paced world of interning and the equally wild world of being an Au-Pair.
2006: film production friends
Armed with a fresh Media Management degree, I dove straight into the deep end at Markenfilm, Germany’s powerhouse commercial film production company.
2011: creative years
I kept the cameras rolling for years, orchestrating creative chaos across various top-tier ad agencies and film productions.
2015: our little son was born
My little whirlwind of a son, Nils, was born, sparking a major creative awakening that got me playing with Procreate and falling in love with drawing animals. Started to draw letterings, too.
2019: married my lovely hubby
Married my best friend and greatest partner in crime, Marco in August 2019.
2021: business development
Dabbled a little bit in the world of Business Development. Loved the new Ins and Outs every day, but missed the creative spark. Decided I need to go for Marketing.
2022: startups and tech giants
I conquered the marketing landscape, driving strategy for everything from lightning-fast startups like Insta360 to tech giants like Microsoft.
2023: kids book illustration & pattern designs
Illustrated and published my first kids book via Amazon KDP. Also enjoyed creating lots of patterns, which you can shop on my Spoonflower portfolio.
2026: sunday creative club launch
I launched the Sunday Creative Club with a simple mission: to help creatives like you draw one stunning new portfolio piece every single month.
